Olive oil tasting... but also wine tasting!
The Olive Oil Museum is located at the Domaine de La Royère, where for more than 30 years wines from the AOP Luberon appellation have been produced in Organic Agriculture.
A dozen white, rosé and red wines are available for tasting, in addition to the olive oils made on site at the modern mill.
An ethical estate, in tune with the times
La Royère, founded in 1988 by the Hugues family, now covers some forty hectares of organically farmed olive groves and vineyards.
Eager to make the most of its harvests, the estate also produces a natural sweet wine as well as eaux-de-vie in its still.
